![]() ![]() The extra touches and skipping thing started after my update and I just assumed it's buggy, restarted my laptop and it temporarily solved the issue.īut now none of my gestures work and the entire touchpad became unresponsive 2 days ago, the cursor wouldn't even move, restarting didn't help, reinstalling the driver didn't help (I did the "delete driver and restart your system" thing on it) and I was so stressed. The only reason I can think of is a recent Windows 11 update, version 22H2 that was installed on 2/13/2023, that might've messed things up. I've been using a mouse for the last 2 days but it's really concerning that the touchpad is dying on me since I don't have the money to change my laptop for at least 2 years and I'm not one to write things off after 6 months either. So you can see why losing my touch gestures is a severe blow to my workflow. ![]() I've found workarounds to most of this, I only use gestures for my scrolling, right click, switching between apps etc. The touchpad has always been hit or miss, with skipping, extra touches eg, I use 2 fingers to scroll and it registers it as 3, right click by pressing down on the touchpad doesn't really work etc. I got it "imported" as my country's going to hell and prices are through the roof on electronics, I was just glad to find something this good in my budget and got it. It's not like I got it ages ago, it's been 6 months as of March. My trusty Dell Inspiron 7415 2-in-1 has suddenly started to give up on me. I'm not the most knowledgeable about troubleshooting and software issues and I'm lost.
